New Year, New District, Still Here to Serve You!

Happy New Year! I want to welcome you to the new 9th District of Michigan. It is an honor to represent you in Congress, and I want you to know that I am here to help you in any way possible.

One of my most important responsibilities as a Member of Congress is helping you navigate the federal bureaucracy. My office can help break through the red tape when you are having problems with your Social Security or Medicare benefits, veterans’ services, international adoption issues, passports, or countless other federal programs. Our casework team is ready to assist you in any way we can. If you would like to request assistance with a federal agency, please visit this page or contact my office at (586) 697-9300.

Another great honor I have as your Representative is to nominate Michigan’s exceptional high school students to the United States Military Service Academies. Contact my office if you or a young person you know is interested in attending the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Coast Guard Academy, or the United States Military Academy at West Point. You can learn more about this process by clicking here.

There are also several services my office in Washington, D.C. provides, like flying American Flags over the Capitol and giving tours of the U.S. Capitol Building. If you are interested in having a flag flown as a gift or on behalf of a loved one, they can be ordered through my website. The required form you need to fill out to start the process, can be found here.

I am thrilled that the Capitol Building is FINALLY reopened to the American public. If you find yourself in our nation’s capital, let my office give you a behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic building that is home to both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. Let us know if you’re planning a trip, and my D.C. office can assist you with other tours like the White House, the FBI building, and more!

These are just a few ways my office can help serve you. Please feel free to reach out to my offices with any questions, concerns, or comments. It is the greatest honor of my life to represent you.

Thank you for your participation in the democratic process, enjoy your weekend.

Sincerely,
