WASHINGTON—House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) released the following statement today on the passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa:
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Doug was not only a valued colleague and friend, but a devoted public servant who poured his heart into serving the people of Northern California. He cared deeply about his constituents and worked tirelessly to represent their voices, values, and livelihoods in Congress. His love for his district and commitment to public service were evident in everything he did. My prayers are with his wife, Jill, their family, his staff, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. Doug’s legacy of service, integrity, and dedication will never be forgotten.”
