WASHINGTON—Today, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) joined members of the House in voting to pass H. Res. 519, a resolution that condemns the recent attacks on state legislators in Minnesota.
“Political violence has no place in our country,” Chairwoman McClain said. “We must all condemn these attacks and send a clear message that violence and intimidation against our elected officials are unacceptable. This resolution reflects our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of lawmakers nationwide and to preserving the democratic process free from fear and aggression.”
