WASHINGTON—Today, Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) and Chairman James Comer announced the Committee on Oversight and Accountability issued a notice of investigation to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regarding interference by Biden-Harris Administration officials to eliminate age recommendations for pediatric gender reassignment surgeries.
“Removing age recommendations for gender reassignment surgery isn’t just biologically questionable, it's outright repulsive,” said McClain. “Chairman Comer and I will leave no stone unturned as we get to the bottom of this troubling report. The Biden-Harris Administration’s shameless pressure campaign to please the radical left is placing our children in harm's way.”
