WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) demanded answers from President Biden on recent reports that his Administration sold over one million barrels of oil to China from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
“President Biden claims to be working to lower gas costs, but at the same time he is sending oil from our strategic reserve to adversary number one, communist China” said Rep. McClain. “This is beyond unacceptable, and Americans are already paying the price for Biden’s failed policies. We need to hold the President accountable for this outrageous action.”
